Occupation Outlooks

Ottawa Employment Hub has created local Occupation Outlooks for over 200 occupations. These annually-updated reports draw from Emsi Analyst software that incorporates and harmonizes labour market data from a variety of Statistics Canada sources. The sources include the Survey of Employment, Payrolls and Hours (SEPH), the Labour Force Survey (LFS), Canadian Business Counts, the Census, and the Post Secondary Student Information System (PSIS). Each outlook also includes links to additional useful information.

We have organized the outlooks by the National Occupational Classifcation (NOC) 2011 codes. Click here for Stats Canada’s full listing of the NOC codes or to search for the code for a specific occupation.

Do you need an outlook that is not available here? Contact us at 613-727-4723 X 5991 or fengj@algonquincollege.com and we will provide you with the outlook (in English) within three business days. All outlooks prepared will be translated and posted on our website.
